BRS party chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has deplored that the Revanthi Reddy-led Congress government failed in all areas and given a clarion call to put an end to this anti-people regime. He questioned what the Congress government had done in its one and a half year rule?
Addressing a mammoth rally near Warangal to mark the silver jubilee of the BRS, he made it clear that this government had failed in providing welfare, fresh water and water to the fields. He said that there was a failure in electricity supply to the farmers, seed supply, grain procurement, and in increasing land prices.
KCR lamented that by promising on Gods, they are taking commissions for every work, taking 20-30 percent commissions, filling and carrying bags. He made it clear that the Congress’s rule is doomed, and that the Hastam party leaders will have to count the days until the end of their rule.
The former Chief Minister said that he was not talking about 0-30 percent commissions, but that 200 contractors had gone to the Finance Minister’s chamber and had a fight. He alleged that those contractors accused in the Secretariat revealed that they were demanding 20-30 percent commissions.
Strongly refuting the partisan attitude of the police, KCR asked them ‘Why are you involved in politics? Why are you agitating? Why are you filing cases against BRS social media warriors who are questioning the government on behalf of the people?”. KCR told police “Don’t you know? Aren’t you educated? Don’t the people have the right to ask in a democracy? Why are you filing cases? Why are you agitating? Why will you become a victim tomorrow? Do your duty! BRS never violates the laws”
KCR assured that the BRS party will be with the people and he will be there with them. He expressed confidence that “We should achieve 100 percent victory in Telangana again. We should hoist the pink flag. We should achieve a wonderful Telangana”.
Meanwhile, KCR demanded that Operation Kagar be stopped immediately. He expressed his concern that the central government is killing innocent tribals in the name of Operation Kagar. He suggested that the central government should hold talks with the Maoists. He said that it is not right to say that the Maoists will be eliminated and this is not a good method in a democracy.
