Hyderabad: BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has instructed party legislators to counter the Congress government’s alleged misinformation regarding state debts. Addressing the BRS Legislature Party meeting at Telangana Bhavan, KCR discussed strategies for the upcoming Assembly and Council sessions.
He criticized the Congress government for accumulating substantial debt while failing to fulfill its electoral promises. He accused the ruling party of neglecting farmers by withholding Rythu Bandhu benefits and irrigation support. KCR stated that despite providing sufficient time, the government had not delivered on its commitments.
The BRS chief urged MLAs and MLCs to hold the government accountable during the Assembly sessions by highlighting issues related to corruption and anti-people policies. He called for a strong defense against allegations targeting the decade-long BRS administration and emphasized the need to support the BC and SC reservation bills.
Expressing concerns over the reported weakening of Gurukul schools, KCR directed party leaders to raise the issue in the Assembly. He also demanded answers regarding the Congress government’s six guarantees and the suspension of the Dalit Bandhu scheme.
