Kavitha says They will Fight Against Failures of Congress Regime

Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha announced that they will fight against the failures of the Congress government. Prominent BC leader Ram Koti from Mansurabad in LB Nagar constituency joined Telangana Jagruti on Friday along with 350 followers.  Kavitha welcomed them by covering them with a scarf at the Jagruti office in Banjara Hills.

She said that they will fight against the Congress government, which has failed in all fields. She made it clear that joining Jagruti is like playing Bathukamma, and at the same time, one has to fight with fists.

Kavitha lamented that this government has cheated girls by promising to give Rs. 2,500 per month. She recalled that during the KCR government, pregnant women who went to government hospitals for delivery used to be provided with KCR kits along with financial assistance, but it was stopped after the Congress came to power.

She said that the gold coin that was promised for the marriage of poor girls is not being given, and that he has not given a single job despite promising to create 2 lakh jobs per year. She called on Jagriti activists to fight to implement all the promises made to them, including 42 percent reservation for BCs. Telangana Jagruti Working President L. Roop Singh Nayak, General Secretary Naveen Achari and others participated in the program.

Meanwhile, Kavitha met with BC leaders and UPF leaders on Friday to discuss the strategies to be followed to achieve 42 percent reservation for BCs in local bodies. Various issues including 42 percent reservation for BCs in local bodies, High Court stay on GO 9, and issuance of a gazette by the State Election Commission suspending the local body election process were discussed.
