A mini-bus carrying junior artists from the sets of Rishab Shetty’s highly anticipated Kantara: Chapter 1 met with an accident near Jadkal, close to Kollur. The incident occurred while the team was traveling from Muduuru to Kollur after wrapping up a shooting schedule.
The bus, carrying 20 passengers, overturned, leaving six individuals with serious injuries. The injured were promptly rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The sequel to the critically acclaimed Kantara is being filmed across various coastal locations with a significant ensemble cast. Following the massive success of the first installment, which was initially a small-scale Kannada production and later became a pan-India blockbuster, the expectations for Kantara: Chapter 1 are exceptionally high.
Production is underway at a brisk pace, with director Rishab Shetty at the helm. Despite this setback, the team is committed to ensuring the safety of its crew and resuming the shoot as planned. Fans eagerly await updates as the project continues to take shape.
