‘Kannappa’ Unveils New Poster Featuring Sarathkumar as “Nathanadhudu”

Ever since the announcement has been made about Manchi Vishnu’s ‘Kannappa’, excitement has been rising around the much-awaited film, thanks to its star-studded cast.

Manchu Vishnu takes on the lead role, supported by its stellar ensemble cast of Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohan Babu, Sarath Kumar, Shiva Rajkumar, Preity Mukundan, Madhubala, Brahmanandam, and many others.

The makers of ‘Kannappa’ have unveiled a new poster of Sarath Kumar as “Nathanadhudu”. Sharing the poster on their social media handles, they revealed the details of his role and wrote, “Embark on the ‘#Kannappa’ adventure with @r_sarath_kumar as ‘Nathanadhudu’, leading the descendants of ‘Bhima Sena’ and ‘Hidimbi’, celebrated for their expertise in bow and arrows.”

Manchu Vishnu portrays the titular role of ‘kannappa’, a devoted follower of Lord Siva. The recently released teaser highlights Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in the role of Lord Siva and offers glimpses of Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohan Babu, Preity Mukundan, and Sarath Kumar.

Mukesh Kumar Singh, renowned for his legendary work on the mythological series ‘Mahabharatam’, is at the helm of direction for this epic film. Actor-producer Mohan Babu is backing the project with a high budget under the banners of 24 Frames Factory and Eva Entertainments. Mani Sharma and Stephan Devassy are jointly producing the musical tunes.

Recent reports suggest that the filmmakers are planning for a December release. If the rumors are true, it will clash with Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated sequel, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, helmed by Sukumar. Slated for a pan-Indian release, ‘Kannappa’ will hit screens in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
