Ever since the announcement was made about Manchu Vishnu’s prestigious dream project “Kannappa,” excitement has been steadily building, fueled by its star-studded cast. The film has been creating buzz with the release of first-look posters of the film’s cast one after another.
Recently, the filmmakers revealed the much-awaited first look of Prabhas in the film Kannappa. Rebel star Prabhas, who plays a significant cameo in this mythological epic, is introduced as Rudra. The first-look poster presents Prabhas in a divine avatar, embodying strength and protection. He was dressed in a woven attire in a holy appearance with sacred tripundra on his forehead, holding a wooden spear in his hand, and wearing a rudraksha mala on his neck and arms, exuding a powerful spiritual presence.
The makers introduced his character with a poster, along with a caption, “The Mighty Rudra. Unveiling Darling-Rebel Star @actorprabhas as ‘Rudra’, a force of divine strength, wisdom, and protector in Kannappa. Embark on an extraordinary journey of devotion, sacrifice, and unwavering love. Witness this epic saga on the big screen this April 2025!”
Kannappa, the mythological epic, is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and backed by 24 Frames Factory and Eva Entertainments. The film features Manchu Vishnu in the titular role, with Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, Preity Mukundan, Mohan Babu, Mohan Lal, Sharath Kumar, Shiva Rajkumar, Madhubala, Brahmanandam, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmaji, Sampath Ram, Devaraj, and others in pivotal roles. Additionally, Manchu Vishnu’s children, Avram Manchu, Ariaana, and Viviaana, are set to make their acting debut as child artists.
