The legendary actor and filmmaker Kamal Haasan is now all set to arrive in theaters once again with his much-anticipated film, Indian 2. Indian 2, directed by Maverick director Shankar, is set to hit theaters this June. The makers have announced that this much-anticipated film, Indian 2, will be released worldwide in June 2024.
The makers took to their social media platforms (X and Instagram) to announce the update and wrote, “Gear up for the comeback of Senapathy! INDIAN-2 is all set to storm in cinemas this JUNE. Mark your calendar for the epic saga! #Indian2”
In the poster, the actor was seen sporting his signature costume of a white shirt and vesthi. Kamal was seen as Senapathy with a mischevious smile in handcuffs, crossing his fingers. The poster has the film’s title and its subtitle, “Zero Tolerance,” hinting at Kamal’s character in the film.
Indian 2 is the second installment of the film Indian, which was released in 1996. The movie is releasing after 26 years since its prequel’s release. The film, which is touted to be a vigilante action film helmed by legendary director Shankar and jointly backed by Udhayanidhi Stalin and Subaskaran Allirajah under Red Giant Movies and Lyca Productions.
Indian 2 boasts an ensemble cast featuring names like Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, S.J. Suryah, and others in pivotal roles. Music sensation Anirudh Ravichandran is composing tunes for this vigilante action drama, while Ravi Varman and Sreekar Prasad are handling the cinematography and editing.
