Hyderabad: Actor Kalyan Ram has addressed the recent buzz surrounding his brother Jr. NTR’s noticeably leaner appearance. In a promotional interview for his upcoming film Arjun – Son of Vyjayanthi, Kalyan Ram responded to questions about whether he played a role in NTR’s physical transformation.
“Jr. NTR is a superstar and a pan-India hero. He is currently working with Prashanth Neel, one of the top directors in the country. Would I be giving them advice? Whatever NTR does, it’s purely for cinema,” Kalyan Ram said.
Jr. NTR, who recently completed shooting for his Bollywood debut War 2, is set to join the sets of Prashanth Neel’s untitled project on April 22. Following that, he will begin work on Devara-2, the sequel to Devara, which was directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Kalyan Ram. Given the success of the first part, expectations are high for the sequel.
Meanwhile, Kalyan Ram’s film Arjun – Son of Vyjayanthi is scheduled for release on April 18.
