Nag Ashwin’s mythological sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ dominates the box office in its first week and has been shattering all records. Released worldwide in theaters on June 27, the film has surpassed the 700 crore milestone.
Going into the details of first-week collections, as per Sacnilk, the film has run in India with Rs. 95.3 crore net on the first day and grossed Rs. 23.2 crore on its seventh day. By week’s end, the film had surpassed 700 crores.
The Telugu release amassed 202.8 crore in its first week, while the Hindi version garnered 152.5 crore, securing its place as the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of the year.
Kalki is doing great in North America, earning over $13.5 million, and is expected to continue the roar at the box office.

Recently, Aswini Dutt revealed that 60% of the sequel filming has been completed and is targeting a 2025 release.
