Kalki 2898 AD: Director Nag Ashwin Reveals Decision To Split Film Into Two Parts

Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s sci-fi epic, “Kalki 2898 AD,” released on June 27, has emerged as a global box office sensation. Today, director Nag Ashwin addressed the media in a press conference to discuss the film’s success and future plans.

During the press meet, Nag Ashwin revealed the decision to split “Kalki 2898 AD” into two parts, citing the intricate storyline and the necessity to fully explore its four main characters. He explained, “Originally conceived as a single part, we realized that dividing it into two parts was essential to capture the depth and essence of the narrative.” He added that filming for the second part has already commenced, with 20 days of shooting completed. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Rajendra Prasad, and Shobhana, the film is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and features a captivating soundtrack by Santosh Narayanan, resonating with audiences worldwide.
