Bollywood star Amir Khan’s son Junaid Khan and Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor have teamed up for an upcoming new romantic drama. The makers of the film have revealed the release date today.
Making it an official announcement, the filmmakers shared a post featuring animated portraits of male and female, with the female taking a selfie in it. The post reads, “Phantom Studios & AGS Entertainment announce the theatrical release of our film about Love, likes & everything in between. Khushi Kapoor… Junaid Khan… 07.02.2025.”
Phantom Studios captioned the post, “Are you ready to experience love in the digital era with @Khushi05k and #JunaidKhan? In Cinemas worldwide on 7th Feb 2025!”
The film is helmed by Advait Chandan, who has previously directed Laal Singh Chaddha. This yet-to-be-titled film will be released in theaters on February 7, 2025.
Touted to be a romantic comedy, the latest buzz is that the film is an adaptation of the Tamil blockbuster film ‘Love Today’, which garnered high acclaim for its captivating storyline centered on modern love, relationships, and the influence of social media.
In terms of their professional careers, Junaid Khan stepped into the spotlight earlier this year with his debut in the historical drama, ‘Maharaj’, directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra. Meanwhile, Khushi made her first appearance in the webseries ‘The Archies’, alongside fellow newcomers Suhana Khan, Agastya Nandan, and Vedang Raina under the direction of Zoya Akhtar.
