The grand pre-release event of Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s highly anticipated film ‘Devara: Part 1’, which was scheduled for yesterday, September 23, was called off due to security concerns. The event was originally planned to take place in an indoor stadium with fans in attendance; however, the event faced cancellation due to overwhelming crowd turnout.
Jr. NTR expressed his deep disappointment in a video to his fans following the cancellation of the ‘Devara’ pre-release event. Speaking in Telugu, he conveyed, “It is very sad that the Devara pre-release event is not happening today, and it is very painful, especially for me. I love to connect and spend time with all of you whenever possible, and I was excited to share the insights of the film and the challenges we faced during the film’s production. Unfortunately, it has been cancelled for security reasons, and I’m deeply saddened by this.”
He also defended the film’s producers and organizers, stating, “I believe it’s unfair to blame the organizers or the producers of Devara for this unfortunate turn of events.” He reassured his fans that even though he couldn’t meet them at the event, he would connect with them on September 27 in theaters.”
NTR expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support, acknowledging that he owes his success to them, and he also promised to make them proud. NTR commended director Koratala Siva for crafting an exceptional film. The actor concluded by wishing everyone who attended the event a safe journey home after the event.
