The excitement surrounding the pre-release event for NTR’s highly anticipated pan-India action drama, Devara, was palpable as it was set to take place this evening at the Novotel Hotel in Hyderabad. Fans flocked to the venue in droves, eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite star. However, the event was regrettably cancelled when the crowd became unruly and the situation spiraled out of control. In a heartfelt effort to connect with his disappointed fans, NTR shared a special video expressing his sorrow over the cancellation. “It’s truly unfortunate that the Devara pre-release event couldn’t happen today. You can imagine how painful this is for me. I was really looking forward to sharing our hard work and experiences with you. Sadly, security concerns forced us to cancel,” he shared.
The Devara star continued, “My disappointment is deeper than yours. It’s unfair to hold the producers or event organizers accountable for this situation. I’m eternally grateful for your unwavering support. Although we couldn’t gather today, you will all get to see Devara on September 27, and it’s my duty to ensure you leave the theater feeling proud. That joy is hard to put into words.”
NTR emphasized the dedication of director Koratala Siva in bringing Devara to life and encouraged fans to watch and enjoy the film. He also reminded everyone to return home safely. He wrapped up his message with a powerful “Jai NTR” chant.
