Tollywood stars and brothers Jr. NTR and Kalyan Ram honored their late grandfather Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao on his 29th death anniversary.
Legendary actor and politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao died on January 18, 1996, and the actor’s 29th death anniversary is today, on Saturday. Early this morning, Jr. NTR and his brother Kalyan Ram visited the NTR ghat in Hyderabad to pay their respects, offering prayers to their late grandfather.
The duo arrived with tight security while fans and media personnel surrounded them. Tarak and Kalyan Ram were seen dressed in black outfits. They offered floral wreaths one by one at NT Rama Rao’s memorial.
Videos of the actors sitting on the grounds, praying at the memorial, and honoring the memory of the iconic figure have been widely shared on social media. The brothers have made it a tradition to visit NTR’s memorial annually on his birth and death anniversaries.
For those unknown, Jr. NTR and Kalyan Ram are half-siblings, and their father, late Nandamuri Hari Krishna, was also an actor and politician. Despite being half brothers, they both share a strong bond. Also, the Devara actor and Kalyan Ram are nephews of the God of Masses, Nandamuri Bala Krishna. The veteran actor also paid floral tributes to his father on this occasion earlier this morning.
