Union Minister and BJP national president JP Nadda has warned that the NDA regime both at the center and in the state will expose all irregularities and corrupt practices of former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Participating as the chief guest at the concluding meeting of the Sarathyam Yatra, undertaken by BJP state president PVN Madhav in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, he said that the alliance has sung the final song to the corrupt rule of the YSRCP.
He emphasized that AP is making progress in development under the NDA rule. He criticized that there were incompetent and hereditary governments in the country before 2014. JP Nadda suggested that people should pay attention to the changes that have come to the country after 2014.
“Visakhapatnam is like a jewel for the East Coast. Before Narendra Modi came to power, a corrupt and anti-people government was running. I thank the people for choosing the alliance after overthrowing the incompetent and chaotic YSRCP government”, he said.
While the rest of the political parties are opportunistic and power-mongering, Nadda said that BJP is an ideological party. He congratulated state BJP chief PVN Madhav for conducting a tour covering all 26 districts of Andhra Pradesh.
He asserted that the BJP-led NDA government at the Center has been fulfilling all its promises to the people during the last 11 years. ”The largest number of workers in the world are in the BJP. We have solved many problems like Article 370, construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, triple talaq”, he added.
Nadda recalled that India was the 11th largest economy in 2014, but now it has become the fourth largest economy qne will become the third in the future. “We are moving forward in many fields like defense and medicine. Under Chandrababu’s leadership in AP and with the support of Modi, the Center is implementing many development programs”, he said.
During the YSRCP regime, Nadda lamented that there was corruption, irregularities and anarchy. “We are taking AP, which has gone into darkness, forward on the path of development under the leadership of Modi and the coalition government. AP will be in Modi’s mind. Modi will be in the minds of the people of AP”, JP Nadda emphasized.
Meanwhile, former MLC Potula Sunitha and her husband took the BJP veil in the presence of JP Nadda. Potula Sunitha’s political journey began with the TDP. In 2017, Potula Sunitha was elected as an MLC from the TDP. After not getting the Chirala assembly seat in Prakasam district during the 2019 assembly elections, she resigned from the TDP and joined the ruling party, the YSR Congress Party. Later, she was elected as an MLC from the YCP.She also resigned from the post of MLC of the party after the YSRCP suffered a crushing defeat in the 2024 elections
