Senior YCP leader and former minister Jogi Ramesh took severe exception for ACB raids on his house and arrest of his son Rajiv in Agri Gold lands scam. Alleging that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu made his son, who had studied in foreign countries, a victim for his politics. He warned that it will not end here. “Remember you too have children. We too will get a time”, he threatened.
After his son’s arrest, Jogi Ramesh alleged that the Red Book Constitution is running in AP. He asserted that his son has not done anything wrong and he is prepared for a public debate on the Agrigold Lands issue. He also said that they are ready for any action. “I am ready for any action if our family is proved involved in this scam”, he said.
Since the ACB officials started searches at his house early morning and arrested his son Jogi Rajeev, the case has been taking shocking turns. ACB officials said that Rajiv played a key role in this scam and are investigating.
It seems that the officials who have moved him to Gollapudi ACB office are conducting a thorough investigation. Speaking to the media, ACB Additional SP Soumyalatha revealed shocking things about this entire affair.
“There have been irregularities in the case of Agrigold lands. Today we arrested two persons.The survey numbers of Agrigold lands were also changed. In the investigation of the ACB officials, the irregularities were found to be true. We are also bringing the report of the CID officials”.
“Agrigold’s assets are under CID attachment. In our investigation, we have registered cases under the PC Act. Government officials are guilty in this case. That is why we are conducting our investigation separately. We will explain the investigation reports of CID and ACB officials to the superiors”, she added.
She said that during their investigation they have identified five names as accused and some more names may be added during the course of investigation. Moreover, she said that a thorough probe will be conducted on the role of Jogi Ramesh in this entire scam and a case will be booked against him also if allegations are proved.
She said that they have started an investigation after receiving a complaint from Abba Sesha Narayana and registered a case after finding that illegal registrations have taken place. According to her, they bought land in Survey No 88 and changed it to Survey No 87. It all happened as a conspiracy to manage village and mandal surveyors. Surveyor Ramesh and Jogi Rajeev were arrested.
