Tadipatri Municipal Chairman JC Prabhakar Reddy has made controversial remarks against BJP leader and actress Madhavi Latha, calling her a “waste candidate” and questioning why the BJP continues to retain her in the party.
The criticism came in response to Madhavi Latha’s comments on a special New Year event organized by Prabhakar Reddy for women in Tadipatri. In a video statement, Madhavi Latha advised women to avoid visiting JC Park, alleging that atrocious incidents occur there.
Reacting to her remarks, JC Prabhakar Reddy accused Madhavi Latha of insulting women and asserted that no such incidents have taken place at JC Park. He questioned, “What’s wrong with organizing a special event for women?” He further criticized the BJP, stating that “RSS and BJP leaders are worse than hijras.”
JC Prabhakar Reddy Comments on Diwakar Travels Bus Burning Incident
In another development, the burning of Diwakar Travels buses in Anantapur has sparked controversy. The police are investigating the incident.
Addressing the media, JC Prabhakar Reddy said he would not file a complaint regarding the incident, challenging the police to take suo motu action and conduct an investigation. He expressed distrust in the police, stating that they are incapable of apprehending the culprits.
JC alleged that the buses were deliberately set on fire as part of a conspiracy, but the police registered the incident as a short circuit case, which he strongly criticized.
“When I didn’t worry about losing 300 buses, why would I bother about this now?” he questioned.
