Jana Sena Srikalahasti constituency in-charge Kota Vinutha and her husband Chandrababu were expelled from the party by the party high command after they were arrested by the police in the murder case of car driver Srinivasulu alias Rayudu (24) in Chennai.
The Jana Sena high command said that Vinutha had been kept away from party activities for some time as her behavior was different from the party’s norms.
It reminded that allegations of a murder case against her in Chennai had come to the party’s attention. The Jana Sena high command announced that Vinutha Kota had been expelled from the party in this order. On the 8th of this month, the police found the body of Srinivasulu alias Rayudu near the Cooum river in Chennai.
The police found that the Jana Sena party symbol was on his hand, along with Vinuta’s name. During the investigation, they suspect that Rayudu was killed on the 8th of this month and thrown into the river. The police suspect that he may have been murdered. Locals informed the police after Rayudu’s body was found in the vicinity of Red Hills in Chennai.
Rayudu’s grandmother came to the spot. When the police questioned her, she said that Rayudu had been having differences with Vinutha’s family members for the past three months. She suspected that Vinutha’s family members were responsible for Rayudu’s death.
Based on Rayudu’s grandmother’s complaint, the police registered a case at Mint Police Station in Chennai and arrested five people including Vinutha, her husband Kota Chandrababu and Vinutha’s father Bhaskar.
Vinutha’s arrest in the Rayudu murder case has become a sensation. Rayudu, a resident of Bokkasampalem village, also works as a driver for Kota Vinutha, the Jana Sena party in-charge of Srikalahasti constituency, and as her personal assistant. He was a trustworthy person. However, shortly after Vinutha was arrested, the Jana Sena party suspended her from the party.
On June 21st, Vinutha issued a public statement stating that Rayudu was being removed from his duties for his betrayal, and informed everyone through the media and social media. From then on, she said that they had no connection with Srinivas.
