Jagan visiting Tenali To Meet Roudee sheeter Families, who Attacked A police

It is normal practice for politicians to visit and console victims of accidents or family members of those political killings and agitation. But, former chief minister and YSRCP President Jaganmohan Reddy seems to be choosing a different path. He is visiting Tenali on Tuesday to console family members of rowdy sheeters, who were arrested on the charges of attempting to murder a police constable.

YSRCP sources have announced that he is coming to reassure them. No matter how many times the police have reprimanded the rowdy sheeters of the Ganja batch in Tenali and registered cases, there is no change. Even after being released on bail, they are committing anarchy again.

Recently, they turned on a constable named Chiranjeevi and attempted to murder him. The police registered a case on the complaint of the victim constable. The police, with the intention of instilling fear in the rowdy sheeters, publicly beat the constables with lathis on their soles (NADA treatment).

IPS officer PSR Anjaneyulu, who is currently in jail, used to use third degree torture not only on rowdy sheeters but also on innocent people in the dormitory when he was the SP of Guntur. Beating them in public like this is illegal!

If Jagan had condemned this, no one would have found fault. But… there is a sense of astonishment that he has come to visit the families of rowdy sheeters.  Videos of rowdy sheeters getting angry and attacking innocent people in the same Ithanagar in Tenali during the YCP regime are now going viral.

Kalyani, the wife of constable Chiranjeevi, who was the victim of an assassination attempt by rowdy sheeters in Tenali, has released a video claiming that she is also a Dalit. “I appeal to the Dalit Sangh leaders and politicians as a Dalit sister! This is my request to those who are supporting the rowdy sheeters in the incident! I am also a Dalit woman”, she pleaded.

“I have no parents. I married Chiranjeevi from the BC community ten years ago. My husband was attacked with deadly weapons by the rowdy sheeters and was about to be killed. We filed a case. The police caught the attackers and punished them”, she said. She deplored that if they try to support the rowdy sheeters, that will be an injustice to her, a Dalit sister.

Meanwhile, Guntur district SP Satish Kumar said that it is not appropriate to support the rowdy sheeters regardless of caste or political affiliation. He announced that a high-level police officer is investigating the incident in Tenali and that it is not appropriate to make a big deal out of it.
