Jagan slams CM Chandrababu Resorting To vindictiveness, Following Red Book 

Former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy lamented that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu resorted to political vindictiveness and the implementation of the Red Book Constitution, leaving development and welfare schemes in the state to the wind. Jagan’s tour of Guntur and Palnadu districts on Wednesday lasted for about seven hours.

Jagan, who reached Guntur at 10 AM set out in a rally and reached Rentapalla in Sattenapalli mandal at 5 PM in the evening. He greeted the people who were standing in the rally for more than six hours and moved forward. He unveiled the statue of YSRCP leader Nagamalleshwara Rao in Rentapalla.

The former Chief Minister alleged that the TDP attacked Nagamalleshwara Rao’s house immediately after the election results were announced in 2024 and that he committed suicide after being severely threatened by the police and pressured to open a rowdy sheet if he did not leave the village. His statue was installed in the village on the occasion of the firth death anniversary of Nagamalleshwara Rao.

He visited Malleswara Rao’s father Venkateswarlu and alleged that some police officers in the state are acting with caste hysteria. He said that recently, a YCP activist named Lakshmi Nrayana was harassed by Sattenapalle DSP Hanumantha Rao in Kotanemalipuri village of Rajupalem mandal, due to which he attempted suicide and is in danger of death.

He criticized that illegal cases are being fabricated and harassed against YCP members Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Kodali Nani, Devineni Avinash, Namburu Shankara Rao, Bolla Brahma Naidu, Annabathuni Sivakumar, Posani Krishna Murali, Rajkumar from Mangalagiri, Krishnaveni, Intur Ravi and others. He advised the police not to participate in the sins committed by Chandrababu.

The YSRCP chief  warned that the situation would change in another four years and that if they come to power again, they will show the film to the officials who made mistakes now. He expressed confidence that the YSRCP would come to power again.

A serious stampede broke out as soon as Jagan’s convoy reached Sattenapalli. Jayawardhan Reddy (32) died in the stampede at the clock tower. He is survived by his wife and two children. Earlier, a vehicle following Jagan’s convoy hit an activist named CH. Singhaiah, who had come from Vengalayapalem in Guntur Rural Mandal, on the Guntur-Etukuru road. As a result, he fell on the side of the road with serious injuries.

The police who noticed him took him to the hospital, where he died while receiving treatment. IG Tripathi and SP Satish Kumar said that appropriate action will be taken as per the law for Jagan violating the rules during his tour.
