Is The stage set For YS Jagan’s Arrest In The AP Liquor Scam By Month-End?

With the arrest of several YSRCP leaders, especially former Chief Minister YS JaganmMohan Reddy’s close associates, in the politically-charged AP liquor scam, there is a campaign that another key figure may be arrested soon. It is said that the entire investigation is focusing on the ‘ultimate beneficiary’ in this scam.

For some time, alliance leaders have been saying that Jagan’s arrest is certain in the liquor case. However, CM Chandrababu Naidu has instructed ministers not to make any comments while the investigation of this case is ongoing. Now, speculations have started about Jagan’s arrest once again. There is a campaign that he will be arrested by the end of this month.

After the arrest of MP Mithun Reddy, the names of Sai Reddy and Jagan came to the fore. There were also differences of opinion on the issue of Jagan’s arrest from a political perspective. However, the fact that Jagan has not yet visited those arrested in the liquor case has become another interesting discussion.

Now, former MLA and Telangana leader Gone Prakash Rao said in Tirupati that Jagan’s arrest is certaini. It has been said that the liquor scam has wrapped itself around Jagan Reddy’s neck. Jagan will definitely be arrested by the end of September, says Gone Prakash Rao. He stated that the investigation agency has clear evidence in the liquor scam.

The SIT investigating the case has already filed two charge sheets and arrested 12 people.  The ACB court has objected to these as they contain errors.Though Jaganmohan Reddy’s name was mentioned in the Charge Sheet, he was not shown as an accused. Former Deputy Chief Minister Narayanaswamy, who was questioned by SIT recently at his house, is also said to be included in the Chargesheet soon.

These developments indicate that the SIT is preparing to submit another Chargesheet very soon, in which both Jaganmohan Reddy and Narayanaswamy are likely to be included as accused. If they are mentioned as accused in the case, observers feel their arrest will be followed.
