Is Sai Pallavi Another Pillar of Strength For ‘Thandel’?

Hyderabad: The Tamil-to-Telugu dubbed film Amaran, featuring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, has turned into a surprising box office success. Released without significant promotional activities, the film has won over Telugu audiences, achieving remarkable collections alongside its Tamil release.  

Trade experts have credited Sai Pallavi’s immense popularity in the Telugu states as the key driver behind the film’s strong performance. Since her debut in Telugu cinema with Sekhar Kammula’s Fidaa, Sai Pallavi has consistently built a dedicated fan base, which has contributed to the film’s success. Sivakarthikeyan, who had been aiming for a breakthrough in the Telugu market, also gained a much-needed hit with Amaran.  

During the film’s success meet, speakers unanimously highlighted Sai Pallavi’s positive image among Telugu audiences as a significant factor in the movie’s triumph.  

Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya Gear Up for Thandel Release  

Sai Pallavi’s next film, Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and starring Naga Chaitanya, is set to release on February 7. Produced by Bunny Vas under the Geetha Arts banner, the high-budget film is generating buzz in the industry.  

With just two weeks to go until release, promotional activities are yet to gain full momentum. However, a series of events is planned in Mumbai, Chennai, and Kerala starting January 25. Producer Bunny Vas expressed confidence in the film’s success, citing the strong fan following of both Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya.  

With its star-studded cast and high expectations, Thandel is anticipated to open to impressive collections and win audience acclaim.
