Interestingly, it is reported that the story was initially penned for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, but because of funding issues, the project did not take off. This provided the opportunity for Allu Arjun to enter, with his huge pan-India appeal driving the film.
Adding to the buzz, this soon-to-be-released film is said to have a significant supporting role, and the producers are looking at a Kollywood superstar to play the role. The latest industry rumor has it that Sivakarthikeyan is in consideration for the role, and talks are on. If he comes aboard, this pairing of Bunny and SK will generate massive buzz among Telugu and Tamil viewers, promising to be a high-voltage experience for the cinema.
The movie is likely to be a high-budget extravaganza, supported by the illustrious Sun Pictures. In the meantime, for the music, the team is contemplating Anirudh Ravichander or Sai Abhyankar, with a robust and energetic score.
