Singer Pawandeep Rajan, winner of Indian Idol Season 12, sustained serious injuries in a road accident near Amroha in Uttar Pradesh. He is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Noida. According to national media reports, doctors have confirmed that his condition is stable.
The accident occurred on National Highway 9 when the vehicle reportedly collided with a lorry, leaving the front section of the car severely damaged. Alongside Rajan, his associate Ajay Mehra and the driver Rahul Singh were also injured in the incident. Photographs from the accident site and the hospital have since gone viral on social media.
Police officials have stated that an investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway.
A native of Uttarakhand, Pawandeep Rajan gained nationwide recognition after winning the Indian Idol Season 12 title. He has performed extensively in Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, and Assamese across various platforms and films.
