Hyderabad: Telangana Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman and renowned producer Dil Raju faced Income Tax (IT) raids on Tuesday morning. The raids come amidst celebrations for the success of his latest film, “Sankrantiki Vasthunnam”.
IT officials conducted simultaneous searches at eight locations, deploying 55 teams. The raids are underway at Dil Raju’s residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, as well as the properties of his brother Sirish and daughter Hanshitha Reddy. Residences of his business partners are also under scrutiny, with officials seizing suspicious documents during the operation.
