Bollywood actor Sai Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set to make his grand debut with the upcoming Netflix romantic drama “Nadaaniyan,” where he will share the screen with Kushi Kapoor as the female lead. The much-anticipated romantic drama has finally announced its release date today.
To reveal the release date, the makers of “Nadaaniyan” unveiled an intriguing promo of recreating a memorable scene from the classic film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The announcement video brings the nostalgic feeling by bringing Archana Puran Singh, reprising her iconic role as Miss Briganza, who once again poses the timeless question, “Pyaar Kya Hai?” (What is love?).
The promo opens with Ibrahim Ali Khan and Kushi Kapoor sitting in the classroom, recreating the legendary scene of Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherjee sitting in the classroom from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Miss Briganza, years later, returns to ask the same question, “Pyaar Kya Hai?”
This time Ibrahim gives a modern twist to the answer, saying, “Pyaar ek arrangement hai…do dilon ke beech jo bina kuch soche, bina kuch samjhe, ek doosre ko apni duniya bana lete hai.Kyunki woh pyaar hi kya jisme thoda sa bachpana na ho, jisme nadaaniyan na ho.”
The video concludes with Kushi Kapoor announcing that Nadhaaniyan is releasing on Netflix on March 7. Directed by Shauna Gautam, the film is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment. Suneil Shetty, Dia Mirza, Jugal Hansraj, and Mahim Chaudhary also star in this rom-com.
