I May Have To Quit Cinema One Day: Ajith

Kollywood superstar Ajith Kumar, who was recently honored with the Padma Bhushan award, has opened up about his career and the uncertainties surrounding his retirement from cinema. In a candid interview with an English media outlet, Ajith acknowledged that while he continues to thrive in his acting career, there may come a time when he will have to step away from the industry, whether by choice or circumstance. He emphasized that the future is unpredictable, and no one can truly know when the end of his acting journey will come.

Ajith went on to reflect on the importance of life itself, stating, “Life is very precious, and I’ve faced numerous struggles. Many of my friends and relatives are currently battling cancer, which has given me a deeper understanding of the value of life. When you witness such hardships, it makes you appreciate every moment.” He expressed his commitment to living life fully, saying he wants to make the most of every moment and not waste time unnecessarily.

Looking back at his unexpected entry into the film industry, Ajith shared his humble beginnings. “I never entered the industry to become a star. I became an actor to pay off my debts. If you watch my first film, my acting was far from impressive. I was dubbed by others due to my accent, and many people criticized me. But I didn’t let those criticisms get to me. Instead, I took them as challenges and worked hard with honesty and dedication.” Ajith’s journey in the industry has been one of resilience and growth, and his reflections serve as an inspiration to many.
