Home Minister Anitha says Those who commit crimes should punished within 100 Days

Home Minister Anitha said that the government is working towards ensuring that those who commit crimes are punished within 100 days. She said that the police machinery has been prepared so that criminals are punished within 100 days. Currently, she said that 394 new SIs have taken up duty, and the recruitment of 6000 police constables will be completed in a few days.

She attended the passing parade of sub-inspectors at the Anantapur Police Training Center as the chief guest. On this occasion, Anitha viewed the police parade. Prizes were given to those who performed best. A total of 394 SIs have completed their training. Among them, 300 are civil and 94 are APSP sub-inspectors. 97 of the civil SIs who have received training are women.

Anitha said that steps have been taken to ensure that investigations into a crime are carried out quickly, and that forensic reports are collected accordingly. She said that steps are being taken to fill vacancies in the courts and steps have been taken to crack down on ganja and cyber crimes. She said that the police are ready to stop not only its transportation but also its cultivation.

The Home Minister said that more than one lakh kg of ganja has been destroyed across the state. She congratulated the SS who are standing guard in their uniforms and are standing guard over the society. “Ganja destroys a generation. In the past, it was found in the bags of school children. An iron fist on ganja and drugs taken through the Eagle Task Force”, she said.

“The government is committed to curbing rapes against women and action is being taken to ensure the health and safety of those working in the police department. Action is being taken to control traffic through drones. We are taking steps to ensure that every police station has two drones”, she added.

DGP Harish Kumar Gupta said that the government has taken all kinds of steps to maintain law and order in the state. He said that everyone in the police department will be trained to conduct transparency and responsible policing. He said that in the wake of the increasing cyber crimes, cyber crime police stations have been set up in all district centers. The DGP explained that the police have been specially trained to curb ganja.
