In the ongoing Formula E-Race controversy, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed a case against KTR, the working president of BRS and former minister. In a bid to have the case dismissed, KTR approached the Telangana High Court, which has given him significant relief. The court ordered the ACB not to arrest KTR until the 30th of this month, providing a one-week stay on any potential arrest.
Along with this, the High Court directed the ACB to file a counter-response, allowing the investigation to proceed. The next hearing is scheduled for the 27th of this month. During the proceedings, both the government’s and KTR’s legal teams presented strong arguments.
The judge questioned the Advocate General (AG), asking if this petition was urgent and what benefit KTR had gained from the case. In response, the AG highlighted allegations of financial irregularities linked to the EFO and asserted that a thorough ACB investigation would reveal the individuals who had gained from these actions.
