Hearing in Kodi Kathi Case Postponed to February 21

Visakhapatnam: The hearing of the Kodi Kathi case was postponed once again by the NIA court in Visakhapatnam. The accused, Janupalli Srinivas, appeared before the court along with his lawyer, Abdul Saleem.

The case was deferred to February 21 as the complainant, former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, failed to appear in court. Lawyer Saleem confirmed the adjournment after the proceedings.

The Visakha Dalit Association (VIDASAM) expressed displeasure over the delay, pointing out that Jagan’s absence for over three years has hindered the case’s progress. The association called on the court to treat repeated non-appearances as contempt of court.
