Hyderabad: After a prolonged rally driven by global geopolitical uncertainty, gold prices witnessed a significant decline on Sunday, offering some relief to buyers. The fall comes in the wake of a temporary easing of trade tensions between the United States and China.
In the Hyderabad bullion market, the price of 10 grams of gold, which stood at ₹99,950 on Saturday, dropped by ₹3,400 to close at ₹96,125 by 6 PM on Sunday. In Delhi, gold was trading at ₹96,550 per 10 grams.
Internationally, the price of gold per ounce declined from over $3,400 to $3,218. Silver prices also dipped marginally, with the cost of a kilogram falling by ₹200 to ₹99,700.
