Four Ministers Likely To Be Inducted Into Revanth Reddy’s cabinet soon

After the completion of caste census and also SC classification, the Congress party is getting ready for the local body polls and the state election commission is likely to issue notification in a week’s time. Meanwhile, the party high-command is also making efforts for the expansion of the cabinet, which has been postponed for a year.

Party sources expect that four leaders are likely to be inducted into Revanth Reddy’s cabinet very soon, as against six vacancies.

Recently, when CM Revanth Reddy, TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy went to Delhi, they discussed the expansion of the cabinet along with the TPCC executive committee in a meeting with party General Secretary (Institutional Affairs) KC Venugopal.

KC Venugopal took the opinions of the four on both these issues.  Party sources say that this exercise is likely to come to a conclusion in the next week or ten days, and if not, the expansion will take place only after the local body elections. Meanwhile, in a review held at the high command, the issue of inducting Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari into the cabinet under the Madiga (sub-caste) quota was discussed.

There was a discussion on the name of Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy from the Mala community. It seems that the main names of Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy and Sudarshan Reddy from the Reddy community, Premsagar Rao from the Velama community, Vakiti Srihari from the Mudiraj community, and Balunayak from the Lambada community are under consideration.

It is known that CM Revanth Reddy announced that a leader from the Mudiraj community would be inducted into the cabinet during the Lok Sabha elections. In this context, it is said that MLA Vakiti Srihari’s berth is confirmed. Although the name of Kadiyam Srihari from the Madiga community is under consideration, the sword of disqualification is currently hanging over him.

The fact that Vivek’s family has already been given one MP and two MLA seats has become an obstacle for him. Moreover, Premsagar Rao, who belongs to the joint Adilabad district, is giving a tough competition to Vivek. He is trying his best with the support of Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka. CM Revanth Reddy is proposing the name of former minister P. Sudarshan Reddy from Nizamabad district.  It is understood that the high command will announce four working presidents and senior official representatives for the TPCC within a week.
