Former YSRCP MLA Chevireddy threatened SIT officials `I will settle your accounts soon’

Former MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, who was arrested in the liquor scam case, reportedly threatened the SIT officials by saying, “I know who is working in the SIT and your history. I will end all of you.” He reportedly warned, “I will get out of jail soon. I will rent a house opposite the SIT office. I will stay here and settle your accounts.”

The three-day SIT custody of Chevireddy, who was arrested in the liquor scam case, ended on Thursday evening. He reportedly threatened the SIT officials during the SIT investigation into the liquor scam, saying, “I will find out the fate of all of you.” The investigation teams asked him more than 200 questions in three days, but he did not answer any of them properly.

It is reported that he shouted loudly and cursed at the investigating officials by not cooperating with the investigation. His entire misbehavior was recorded on CCTV cameras. This footage will be submitted to the court by the SIT officials. No matter how patiently the SIT officials questioned him, Chevireddy said, ‘I will not answer what you asked. You write down what I say.’

It is reported that at one stage, the SIT officials also reacted severely when he did not cooperate with the investigation. “We are not in your custody to answer what you asked”, the officials reportedly told him not to forget that he is in their custody. “There is all the technical evidence against your involvement in the liquor scam”, they added.

It is known that Chevireddy backed down when the SIT officials spoke a little louder, saying that you cannot escape by shouting and pressing hard. Who gave the money for liquor donations in the last general election? On whose orders was this money distributed? When asked, Chevireddy repeated the same old story that he had never touched the liquor money.

When asked, “What Raj Kasieddy and his followers gave you was the liquor bribe money?” he shouted without answering and said that he was illegally implicated in this case. When asked, “Didn’t TUDA vehicles send on your orders to transport the liquor bribe money?”, he said that he did not know anything about it.

It is reported that when the officials prepared statements regarding the issues revealed during the investigation, Chevireddy tore them up without signing them. Chevireddy did not eat or drink water during the SIT investigation. SIT sources say that he acted in this way with the intention of stopping the investigation if he got tired. The SIT officials brought all these matters to the attention of Chevireddy’s lawyer. A written statement was taken from him stating that he did not eat the food willingly.
