Former YSRCP Minister Sidiri Appala Raju Lashed out At police

Former YSRCP Minister Sidiri Appala Raju lashed out at the police in Garuda Bhadra, Vajrapukotturu in Srikakulam district. There was a land dispute between the two communities in the village. The villagers protested after several YCP members committed encroachments. YCP leaders attacked those who were questioned in this process.

YCP leaders who behaved in a tough manner when they were in power  are acting in the same manner even after losing power. The party leaders are getting agitated under the impression that they are still in power. Recently, the behavior of Appala Raju with the police has now become a sensation.

Appalaraju, who had previously called the police in a monosyllabic manner and abused them with obscene language in an incident at an ashram in Visakhapatnam, created a ruckus at the Vajrapukotturu police station on Monday as well. A dispute took place in Garudabhadra village on Sunday evening.

Some leaders, mainly from the YSRCP, had encroached on the village land and tried to build a shed there. Seeing their encroachment, many villagers blocked them. This angered the YCP leaders and attacked the villagers who blocked them with sticks. Many villagers were seriously injured in this attack.

The victims complained about this incident at the Vajrapukotturu police station and the police have registered a case to this extent. However, on learning about the matter, Appala Raju went to the  police station with the activists and lashed out at the police. They called the police in a monosyllabic manner and abused them.

The former minister created havoc at the police station. He also lashed out at CI Tirupati Rao with harsh language. The former minister fired at the police officer, saying, “Whatever you think. Whatever you do, your position will be taken.” In this sequence, the police present there tried to stop the former minister, but Appala Raju did not back down.

Similarly, when the activists who came with the former minister suddenly tried to attack the CI, the CI also gave an equally bold reply without backing down. CI Tirupati Rao warned the former minister that if he comes to the police station and abuses and causes trouble, he will not be silenced. The way former minister Appala Raju behaved towards the police has become a topic of discussion throughout the district.
