Former YSRCP Minister Perni Nani absconding?

After the arrest of resourceful YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy in AP Liquor Case, several YSRCP key leaders, who are worried about facing similar cases are now fearing to be more free and some of them are said to be absconding.

More particularly, former YSRCP minister Perni Nani, who is known for his high-voltage comments and provocative accusations against his political opponents became suddenly silent. His whereabouts are said to be not known. Soon after he openly challenged the government and investigating agencies to arrest him, if they want and he is not going anywhere and ready to face consequences, is now seen now.

Using many foul words and curses, he said that even if he is arrested, they can’t do anything to him and expressed confidence that he would get anticipatory bail in courts. Moreover, referring to his Kapu caste, alleged both Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan are scared of these caste people.

However, though cases were registered against him and also his wife, as no attempt was made to arrest them, political circles are intensely observing how events would take place. Though allegations of stealing ration rice surfaced and his godown was caught smuggling of ration rice, TDP leaders brought pressure for their arrest, nothing happened.

But, now cases being registered against provocative dialogues that Nani made saying “Rappa Rappa”, he approached the High Court for anticipatory bail, but was not granted bail. Since then he went absconding. Not only were his comments saying “Rappa, Rappa”, but his comments that he had been married at night created a stir.

He went into hiding as he was not able to appear in court. The police are searching for him intensively. Cases have already been registered across the state. He was hoping that he would get anticipatory bail. But he was shocked after the court rejected his plea. Since then, he has become silent. As a case filed against him comes for hearing on Tuesday, police sources felt that depending upon the court’s verdict, Nani may come out.
