It is one major political news. Former Congress state president Sake Sailajanath has finally joined the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). Former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has been found personally welcoming him to the party, in one of the major developments within the political fields in Andhra Pradesh.

Sailajanath praises Jagan’s leadership, attacks coalition government
In a speech at the event, Sailajanath came forward and appreciated Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership and governance skills as a couple of reasons for his decision to change parties. He took a dig at the coalition government, stating that it has also failed in its electoral promises. According to him, he finds dissatisfaction growing among the general public against the ruling alliance and many leaders from the Congress party are likely to follow his footsteps and join YSRCP.
A Veteran Politician With a Strong Track Record
Sailajanath brings decades of political experience to YSRCP. He has been elected twice as an MLA from Singanamala and has served as a minister in the governments of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, K. Rosaiah, and Kiran Kumar Reddy. Additionally, he played a crucial role in the Congress party as the PCC chief. His recent discussions with Jagan Mohan Reddy set the stage for today’s official entry into YSRCP.
Commitment to Public Welfare
Taking a firm stand against the ruling coalition, Sailajanath accused it of implementing anti-people policies. He asserted that YSRCP is dedicated to safeguarding public interests and will continue to fight for the welfare of the people.
Reiterating loyalty to Jagan Mohan Reddy, Sailajanath stated that he was ready to accept any responsibility within the party for which he would be entrusted. He also gave a hint at more Congress leaders switching sides but did not care to name a few. In a bid to reiterate commitment to public service, he further stated that he was not making such a switch for personal benefits but because of a genuine feeling to work for the people.
Key Role in YSRCP on the Cards?
As per inside sources, Jagan Mohan Reddy is considering offering Sailajanath a significant position within the party. With elections on the horizon, his entry is expected to strengthen YSRCP’s presence and influence.
