Fibernet Chairman slams `Sakshi’ Fake story on court Rejecting chargesheet Against CM Chandrababu

AP Fibernet Chairman GV Reddy has lamented that Sakshi media has given a fake story on which the Supreme Court struck down the chargesheet against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, filed during the previous Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime.

He said that the previous government had filed a case on the allegations of pressure being exerted on Terasoft when Chandrababu was the CM in 2014. But, when former Fibernet Chairman Gautam Reddy complained against CM Chandrababu, it was written in the FIR that the MD had filed the complaint. Even though CM Chandrababu’s name was not mentioned anywhere in the complaint, the government resorted to a vindictive attitude,  he added.

He also said that the court had struck down the audit report that was wrongly given during the previous government’s tenure, but fake news stories are being written in Sakshi Daily saying that the present government has suppressed the audit report.

GV Reddy alleged that in the past, they made payments to those they wanted, especially former MD Madhusudhan Reddy, who abused his power by giving contracts worth Rs 100 crore to his own brothers.  He said that Terasoft MD Vemuri Hariprasad was also harassed by filing false cases.

He also strongly refuted allegations that the present government managed wrong confessions from the officials bringing pressure on them. He recalled that the coalition government has given postings to all the officials who worked in the previous government. If postings are given, will the officials work in their favor? If so, should we assume that the YCP gave postings in the past and made them favor the officials?, he asked.

GV Reddy accused that Cherukuri Sridhar was threatened and forced into submission. He said that they are considering filing a case against Firbernet former MD Madhusudhana Reddy and former Chairman Gautam Reddy for filing false cases against Chandrababu Naidu.

He asked the CID officials to come out and explain the fake news stories published by Sakshi newspaper. He said that the officials of the department should respond to the allegations made against the CID and give an explanation and clarity. He said that the CID officials should examine the issue of filing a defamation case against them.

He said that they have given notices to director Varma regarding the irregularities in the screening of the movie Vayuham on Fibernet, but Verma is saying that he does not have the money to pay.
