Even Before Taken Oath, Chandrababu Makes Officials To Run On Key Issues

Even before formally taking oath as Chief Minister and taking charge of the state government, TDP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has already taken many important decisions on several key issues. He has given clear directions to officials making them run on war-speed to set right Jagan’s mal-administration.

As soon as election results were out, he aggressively raised the curtain on the decisions and made the government machinery move accordingly.  Already successive government orders were  issued sidelining controversial officials. Steps are being taken to prevent documents disappearing from the respective offices. Many offices have already been seized.

While on one side checking officials known for their proximity towards the YCP regime, a new set of officers are being prompted to carry forward activities in accordance with Chandrababu’s priorities.

Soon after taking charge as Chief Secretary Neerab Kumar Prasad personally visited Amravati region, conducted a review with CRDA officials and conveyed the message to them that the government has ordered to restore all stalled activities aimed at development of this region.

CRDA officials are now engaged in large-scale jungle clearance work rapidly in the capital Amaravati area. Along with removal of wild plants, repair of roads, work has started on previous constructions. Officials of key departments are preparing for the reviews that will take place after the oath-taking.

Irrigation officials are preparing reports with facts on the status of Polavaram. Chandrababu, who brought information about the situation in Transco and Genco in the power department, gave orders to find out the situation of at least street lights not working in many places in the state and fix it immediately.

Chandrababu suggested focusing on sanitation in villages and towns. The authorities have been advised to take appropriate measures to prevent seasonal diseases that occur during the rainy season. In the wake of deaths due to contaminated drinking water in Vijayawada a few days ago, orders were given to take action on the supply of drinking water.
