Etela challenges Revanth To Quit politics If proves No cabinet Nod For Kaleshwaram Project

Former minister and BJP Malkajgiri MP Etela Rajender expressed anger over Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s comments that a big project like Kaleshwaram was built without cabinet approval. He challenged that he would quit politics if it is proven that Kaleshwaram was built without cabinet approval.

MP Etela made it clear that former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao did not take any decision without discussing it in the cabinet, and that made it clear that cabinet should approve all the decisions of the government. He said that he  was speaking as a former minister, not as a BJP MP. Is there any incident of a big project like Kaleshwaram being built anywhere in the country without cabinet approval?, he asked.

Rajender said that KCR has never taken decisions on such key issues without cabinet approval, and that the three ministers who were in the KCR cabinet at that time are now by Revanth Reddy’s side, and if necessary, they will tell him clearly. He said that he will provide all the evidence and will send him all the documents of Kaleshwaram.

He said that KCR is the one who says, “Any decision you want to take in your department, put it in the cabinet,” and if this is not true, Rajender said that he is ready for anything. He said that the construction of projects and corruption should be seen separately, that projects should be built but their profit should be made by obstructing them.

He asserted that the Telangana movement was for water and funds, for which the youth who went to jail, shed blood and burned in petrol fires. Should projects be built in the resulting Telangana or not?, he asked. He recalled that many projects were started during the Congress government but were not completed. He asked why it was not done, even though people sacrificed their lives in the Jalayagnam.

He said that the BJP is demanding a CBI inquiry and demanded that the enquiry commission be completed quickly and the corruption case be solved. Rajender clarified that the BJP is not against construction of projects, but that it is wrong to divide work without tender by obstructing power, and that they are wrong about the culture that has turned it into an ATM.

He advised Revanth Reddy to take action on the report, repair the sagging pillars and provide water, and not to leave those who committed corruption behind. He recalled that he was the one who fought like a tiger against unjustly taking away our water in the name of Pothireddypadu by Rajasekhar Reddy.
