Nation Stands with Bangladesh Hindus: RSS Leader Bhagayya

RSS National Executive Committee member Bhagayya said that the entire Indian nation stands by Hindus of Bangladesh and expresses its solidarity. He was participating at the `Banghibhava Sadassu’ held at Dharna Chown, Indira Park, Hyderabad in support of suffering Bangladeshi Hindus under the banner of `Hindu Ikya Vedika’ (Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti”, on Wednesday.

Bhagayya accused that the Bangladesh government has completely failed to prevent the attacks being carried out by Islamic fanatic forces targeting Hindus in their country. He lamented that the Bangladesh Government is playing a spectator role while the genocide against Hindus in Bangladesh is going on, including rape and murder of Hindu women, destruction of temples and burning of Hindu properties.

In this regard, he appealed that the international community should come forward and put pressure on the Bangladesh government to protect the interest of Hindus in Bangladesh. He also demanded Legal action should be taken against the fanatic forces who attacked Hindus.

He demanded that Swami Chinmoy Krishnadas of ISKCON should be released unconditionally. He has given a call that the fundamental rights of Hindus and other minority people in Bangladesh should be guaranteed.  He urged the Indian government to take necessary steps for the protection of Bangladeshi Hindus.

Expressing deep concern over the plight of Bangladeshi Hindus and the arrest of an ISKCON monk, Tridandi Devanatha Jeeyar Swami  questioned why governments that talk about secularism have power over Hindu temples. He condemned the way in which the income of Hindu temples is being used to run governments, leaving churches and mosques.

Swami Madhava Swami of ISKCON said that they are ready to kill ISKCON devotees in Bangladesh with guns and expressed his concern that even those who gave vegetarian food as prasad to ISKCON devotees in jail have been arrested. He appealed to Bangladesh Prime Minister Yunus to create a situation where Islam, ISKCON and all religions can coexist in Bangladesh. He deplored that even the leaders of the United Nations are not speaking out.

RSS Telangana region Sanghachalak Barla Sundar Reddy said that our response should be to make those who have done injustice to Hindus disappear. He warned that China and Pakistan have joined Bangladesh. He demanded that the Nobel Peace Prize previously awarded to Bangladesh Prime Minister Yunus, who has criminal cases, be revoked.
