The Central Election Commission has given permission for Telangana State’s 10th formation day celebrations to be held at the Secunderabad Parade Grounds on Jun 2. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will pay tribute to the martyrs at Gun park.
Chief Secretary Shanta Kumari conducted a review on the conduct of the celebrations. She has given instructions to various departments to make arrangements for the formation day ceremony.
The CS told the GHMC that both sides of the road at the parade grounds should be decorated with colorful flags. The CS ordered that arrangements should be made for sanitation, drinking water accommodation, security, parking, shamianas, barricading and unhindered three-phase power supply in the vicinity of the assembly premises.
The Chief Secretary to the Government has directed the Culture Department to organize performances with artists to create a festive atmosphere. DGP Ravi Gupta, Special CS Adhar Sinha, Chief Secretaries B. Venkatesham, Jitender and others participated in this meeting.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has already made appropriate preparations for the celebrations. As Telangana state will complete ten years on June 2, Jaya Jayahe is giving final touches to Telangana as the official anthem of the state.
This song will be sung by popular music director MM Keeravani. This song gained wide popularity during the movement. It inspired everyone. Currently, the length of this song has been reduced to about two minutes and some changes are being made.
Also, there is a possibility of unveiling a modified symbol of authority and the image of Mother Telangana. The cabinet has already taken a decision on this matter. The government is thinking of unveiling it on June 2.
The government has decided to invite and honor Sonia Gandhi as the chief guest for the statehood ceremony. The activists who took active part in the agitation for statehood also will be honoured. It seems that the government is preparing a list of activists to be honoured.
On the other hand, it is reported that the government is planning to announce another one of the six guarantees or any other new scheme or policy on the occasion of the state’s foundation day. The government has already changed the name of TS to TG. Also, all the boards and websites of various departments across the state are being completely changed. In the district, mandal and panchayats, preparations are being made to hold the state formation day ceremony.
