BJP leader and Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender has dismissed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s claims regarding a potential merger of the BRS with the BJP. Rajender labeled the remarks as speculative and baseless, attributing them to a deliberate attempt by the Congress party to spread misinformation. “There is no truth to these comments. The merger is not under discussion within our party,” Eatala asserted.
Eatala Rajender also addressed Congress leaders’ statements about the loan waiver. He contended that claims of a full loan waiver are misleading. Eatala alleged that the initially announced Rs 72,000 crore waiver was reduced to Rs 34,000 crore due to procedural issues. He criticized the Congress for not implementing the waiver in its entirety and called for an end to what he described as high drama surrounding the issue. Rajender also suggested halting illegal constructions in the name of Hyderabad’s development.
