Dil Raju, producer of the recently released film Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, responded to media questions regarding the poster showcasing the film’s first-day box office collections. The film, directed by Shankar, garnered mixed reviews, and the poster, which was released the day after its release, led to widespread criticism and trolling on social media for allegedly overstating the actual collections.
During a press meet on Saturday, which was organized by the distributors of Dil Raju’s other Sankranti release, Sankranti Ki Vastunnam, the topic of the Game Changer poster was raised. The press conference featured Dil Raju and director Anil Ravipudi addressing various media queries.
When asked about the poster, Dil Raju responded, “You are aware that we all have weaknesses. I can’t speak on this matter. We have weaknesses and obligations, and we are committed to them.” He further emphasized the positive reception of the film’s success by distributors, stating, “Currently, there are only two or three distributors managing film distribution across regions, but all distributors are happy with the success of the film.”
Additionally, distributor Hari shared insights about the film’s performance in the Nellore district, where he invested 1.60 crore. Within just two days, the film surpassed the recovery threshold, collecting 400% more than the rate at which the distributor had initially invested in the area.
