Dhanush and Nayanthara were also spotted together at the wedding of Idli Kadai producer Aakash Baskaran, but reportedly, their existing controversy did not end. Videos from the wedding event capture the two stars present at the same venue but deliberately avoiding any interaction.
They were seated on the extreme sides of the front row—Dhanush was concentrating on the wedding ceremony, whereas Nayanthara was socializing with other guests. Some of the notable celebrities present included Anirudh Ravichander and Sivakarthikeyan.
This was for the first time that both the actors were seen in the public platform since Nayanthara wrote an open letter to him in which she described him as “tyrant.” The letter was to respond to the legal notice from Dhanush concerning some unauthorized usage of clips from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in Nayanthara’s documentary in the Netflix Series.
In his legal notice, he had claimed ₹10 crore in damages for using three seconds of footage from the film produced by his company Wunderbar Pictures, which showed Nayanthara meeting her now-husband Vignesh Shivan.
