YSR Congress Party NTR District President Devineni Avinash criticized that after the coalition government came to power in the state, all the systems have become weak and there is no one who cares about the basic suffering of the people.
A special meeting was held with the YCP coordinators of seven constituencies of NTR district at the Central Constituency Office in Vijayawada under the chairmanship of Avinash on Saturday. Avinash gave directions on how to move forward on the anti-people policies being implemented by the coalition government.
All the leaders released a poster related to the YCP fee fight program on February 5th. Later, Devineni Avinash said that a YCP district level meeting was held with the coordinators of all the constituencies and discussed the issue of how to stand on the side of the people in the coming days.
He accused that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is cheating the people in the name of “Talliki Vandanam” program, without grounding the same. He said that responding to the call given by the party chief and former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, agiration for fee reimbursement will be held on February 5th.
He said that they will go on a padayatra from the Besant Road YCP office in Vijayawada to the Collector’s office and submit a memaradam to the officials. He called on all YCP ranks to participate in this program in a grand way. He expressed his concern that the coalition government is not responding to the fact that the lives of students are being destroyed. He demanded that the fee arrears be paid immediately.
Nandigama Constituency YCP Coordinator Mondithoka Jaganmohan Rao said that Chandrababu had broken his promise. He strongly condemned Chief Ministers lame reasons that he was unable to implement the scheme due to lack of money.
He reminded that under the YSR regime poor students were supported ignoring financial hardships. He said that the approach adopted by the coalition government today has become a curse for students.
