Jr NTR’s highly-acclaimed blockbuster Devara, starring Janhvi Kapoor and directed by award-winning filmmaker Koratala Siva, continues to turn heads even weeks after its launch. The film was a monumental success in marking the solo carrier of NTR, as his highest-grossing film at present. Having been recently launched in Japan as well, Devara is now mesmerizing fans internationally too.
Adding to the existing buzz, the Original Soundtrack (OST) of the movie has now been released officially by the producers. Composed by the sensational Anirudh Ravichander, the OST has been anticipated by fans right from the time the movie released in cinemas. Renowned for his high-energy music, Anirudh’s composition in Devara has gone a long way in intensifying the emotional intensity and resonance of the movie.
The OST album released has 16 tracks, each detailing crucial phases of the movie’s plot. Within minutes of hitting the internet, music lovers flooded social networking sites with reactions, hailing Anirudh’s score as it captured the essence of the film with intense soundscapes and haunting melodies.
But the celebration was not entirely free from a hint of discontent. Most fans noted that some of the highlight background themes felt in theatres didn’t make it into the released product. While the new OST is being widely enjoyed, fans are now looking forward to a Volume 2 or an extended version which includes the skipped tracks.
Despite that, the OST release of Devara has effectively rekindled fan excitement, further solidifying the strong musical partnership between Jr NTR and Anirudh Ravichander.
