Devara Gears Up for Global Release, Final Runtime Locked

The much-anticipated film Devara, directed by Koratala Siva and starring NTR, is slated to hit theaters on the 27th of this month. NTR is set to captivate audiences in dual roles as Deva and Vara, both powerful and distinct characters. The film, featuring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, is being released in two parts, and some runtime adjustments have reportedly been made to the first part.

Sources indicate that approximately seven minutes have been trimmed from the initially locked runtime. Devara will now run for 170 minutes and 58 seconds (2 hours and 50 minutes). Excluding the mandatory smoking warning, the film’s actual runtime will be 2 hours and 42 minutes. The censor board had originally issued a U/A certificate for a runtime of 2 hours and 57 minutes and 58 seconds. There is already significant buzz surrounding the film, with Saif Ali Khan playing a key role and advance bookings showing a positive trend.

Notably, in international markets, Devara has already crossed the $1 million mark in pre-sale bookings, particularly in the U.S. Adding to its milestones, it will be the first Indian film to be showcased at the Beyond Fest in Los Angeles. NTR has already arrived in Los Angeles as of Monday night to attend the event. In the Telugu states, the film has been granted approvals for ticket price hikes and additional shows, with preview screenings also planned. Industry experts anticipate that Devara will set new box office records on its opening day.
