Delhi Airport Drama: YSRCP Leader Sajjala Stopped By Police

While the YSR Congress Party was in control in Andhra Pradesh, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, the party’s general secretary, became well-known for his influential role in various ministries. However, following his loss of power, he has found himself in a precarious situation. The police are examining his potential involvement in the attack on the TDP central office, and he has sought intervention from the High Court. In a recent development, the government decided to transfer the investigation to the CID, which has prompted law enforcement to intensify their scrutiny.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy encountered an unexpected situation at Delhi Airport when law enforcement officials alerted him to a lookout notice against him, which barred him from international travel. He assured the police that he was not trying to leave the country and was instead heading to Hyderabad. After providing this clarification, he was permitted to proceed. Unfortunately, by the time he was allowed to leave, his flight to Hyderabad had already taken off. It is believed that he later boarded another flight to reach his intended destination.

In the ongoing investigation related to the attack on the TDP office, several YSRC leaders, including Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Devineeni Avinash, Nandigam Suresh, and Lele Appireddy, were issued notices by the police. Nandigam Suresh and Lele Appireddy have already been detained. Although all these leaders sought anticipatory bail from the High Court, only a limited number were granted relief. The court issued a directive not to take stringent measures against Sajjala, resulting in the police refraining from arresting him at this time.
