Australian cricketer David Warner, who plays a guest role in Robinhood, will take part in the film’s promotional activities, director Venky Kudumula announced during a press meet on Tuesday.
Robinhood, starring Nithiin and Sreeleela, marks Venky Kudumula’s second collaboration with Nithiin after Bheeshma. The film is scheduled for release on March 28.
Addressing the media, Venky Kudumula stated, “I am my own toughest critic, which is why I continue reworking until the desired output is achieved. Nithiin has been a great support, and Sreeleela immediately agreed to the role after hearing the script. I envisioned a key role for Rajendra Prasad and wrote it with him in mind. I also thank David Warner for accepting a guest role—he will soon join our promotional activities. If the film succeeds, it will be due to the team’s hard work; if not, I take full responsibility. I am confident Robinhood will be a blockbuster.”
Producer Ravi Shankar noted that the film’s songs and teaser have received a positive response, with the trailer set to be released soon. He added, “Venky Kudumula is among the best in commercial cinema. Robinhood blends comedy and action, ensuring an engaging experience. The on-screen chemistry between Nithiin and Sreeleela will be a highlight.”
