The 52nd CRDA Authority meeting chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu decided to take up land acquisition for 1800 acres pending land pooling under CRDA, if the farmers do not come forward for this. The meeting decided that due to the pending of these 1800 acres, many key projects are facing difficulties in moving forward.
In this meeting the officials brought to the attention of the Chief Minister that if any land acquisition is to be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the master plan, the process will be carried out after talking to the farmers. The CM made it clear that the process should be carried out without causing any trouble to them after talking to the farmers.
Minister Dr P. Narayana revealed that farmers are being given an opportunity for land pooling now and that they will benefit only if they cooperate in land acquisition. Otherwise, he made it clear that the government will go for land acquisition.
Meanwhile, as part of the decision to acquire about 44,000 acres of land in the second phase land pooling, this time it will move forward under a new approach. The government has almost finalized the second phase of land acquisition by giving permission for the Greenfield Airport in the CRDA meeting.
It is reported that this time the decision has been taken to take up the acquisition in phases, unlike the first phase. Keeping in mind the experiences gained in the past, this time the documents related to all the legal rights of the owner along with the Athar identification fingerprint will be taken at the time of the agreement.
In the previous CRDA Authority meeting, it was decided to take the villages of Pedaparimi, Vadlamana and Harichandrapuram into the pool. It was postponed in the Cabinet with the intention of discussing it in the Cabinet sub-committee. In the 52nd Authority meeting, permission was given for the Greenfield Airport. This means that it is known that the CRDA is almost at the starting stage of the process.
